How to Use PayPal When Selling Feet Pics?

With over 425 million users worldwide, Paypal is one of the most trusted payment systems for online money transfers. Users can send and receive money between family and friends or sell goods and services seamlessly through the app or website. In short, PayPal is an electronic alternative to traditional methods of sending and receiving money like checks and money orders.

One such good or service you can sell using PayPal is feet pics and videos. When selling feet content online, there are countless ways to collect your money. Some websites use their own payment systems, while others utilize the most popular and secure tools like Cash App, Venmo, and yes, PayPal.

Keep reading to learn all there is to know about using PayPal when selling feet pics so you can securely collect your money and take advantage of this popular side hustle.

What is PayPal and How Does it Work?

PayPal is an online payment system used for buying things online or sending and receiving money. This can be done from person-to-person or person to business. After signing up (more on this in a minute) users are asked to link their bank account, credit, or debit card to their PayPal account to make online purchases. PayPal acts like the middle man between your bank and the merchants you buy from, working to keep your payment and banking information secure. The family and friends feature of PayPal lets you send and receive money for everyday expenses like rent or groceries to special occasions, like a birthday.

PayPal Fees

Signing up for PayPal is free and easy. While the platform doesn’t charge fees for most transactions, they do for certain things. It’s important you understand this part of the process when selling feet pics online to ensure you receive the full amount you’re owed.

For example, there are no fees for making online purchases through an approved retailer, as long as the transaction doesn’t involve currency conversion. Foreign transactions will incur either a 3% or 4% fee, depending on the location. That means if you sell feet pics to someone outside the United States, you may need to add a currency conversion fee to cover this additional cost.

Sending or receiving money via friends and family on PayPal is completely free, but it must be simply as a gift or repayment. Any transactions made for commercial or retail reasons must be completed differently (more on this in a second). Family and friends transactions are considered “personal” and most are free. In some rare cases, you may incur a fee depending on where you’re sending the money and where you’re drawing the funds from.

When using your PayPal balance or the associated bank account for domestic personal transactions, there is no fee. There is, however, a 5% fee for international transactions. Sending money using a debit or credit card will result in a 2.9% fee for domestic charges and 5% for international. There’s also a fixed fee depending on the country. There are no fees for transferring money from your PayPal Account to your bank account, but you’ll need to wait for 1 to 3 business days to see the money appear. If you want the money instantly, PayPal will send it immediately but you’ll have to pay a 1% fee on the amount you’re transferring. All checks drawn from your PayPal account come with a $1.50 withdrawal fee.

All of these fees add up, which is why you need to price your feet pics and videos accordingly. Figure out how you’re going to use your income – are you going to leave your earnings in PayPal and use a debit card to withdraw them, or do you plan to move all of your funds into a bank account? Consider these factors, and how much it’ll close you, before putting a price on your foot content or accepting an offer.

Getting Started on PayPal

Like most other online financial apps, signing up for PayPal is relatively easy and free. There are two types of accounts to choose from – business and personal. For the purpose of selling foot pics, you may want to consider a business account. Both have their pros and cons, so let’s take a closer look at each option.

Business Account

PayPal business accounts let you accept payments online through the app as well as using credit cards and debit cards both online or in person. Even if the buyers don’t have a PayPal account, they can deposit the payment into yours. You can also use a business account to send invoices to buyers detailing the cost of your feet pics and exactly what they’re getting. These notes come in handy if there’s ever a debate over what content was sent, received, and paid for. This is also a great tool for record-keeping and when it comes time to pay income tax on your feet pic earnings.

Personal Account

You can also open a personal PayPal account and use this for all of your feet pic transactions. This is the most common type of account for individual use, so be sure that you’re careful about requesting money and getting paid for your feet pics on a personal account. These accounts are designed mostly for making online purchases and exchanging money with friends and family. You can add credit cards to a personal account, link different bank accounts, and view your transaction history to help keep track of payments and orders.

The Sign-Up Process

Once you choose between a personal or business PayPal account, you can start the registration process. This is complete in just a few easy steps.

  1. Download the PayPal app for Android or Apple or go to paypal.com
  2. Click the blue “sign up” button.
  3. Select “personal” or “business” account.
  4. Add your phone number so you can receive a text message security code which you’ll need for the next step.
  5. Enter your first and last name, your email address, and create a secure password.
  6. Enter your mailing address and read and agree to PayPal’s privacy policy. After this, your account will be complete.
  7. Now you can add a credit or debit card or bank account to your PayPal account for processing transactions and transferring funds.

You’ll need to use your legal name for opening your PayPal account but once this is done, you can use whatever name you’d like to sell feet pics. You can use your email address as your PayPal username to conceal your true identity. PayPal also allows you to add a profile picture to your account, but you don’t have to.

PayPal vs. Venmo: What’s the Difference?

While the focus of this article is on using PayPal when selling feet pics, it’s worth mentioning that Venmo is another popular option for transferring money for goods and personal reasons – it’s also owned by PayPal.

Venmo is strictly a mobile app for sending and receiving money quickly. The company’s mission is to make sending money “safe, simple, and social”. But you can also use Venmo to make purchases online and in person. It’s important to note, though, that just because PayPal owns Venmo, it doesn’t mean the two payment systems are linked. As of now, there’s no direct way to transfer your money from one account to the other but you can link the same bank account to both and indirectly transfer funds between the two. In order to do this, you’ll need a PayPal Bank account.

When looking at PayPal and Venmo in comparison, they’re both safe and secure options for sending and receiving money for your feet pics. PayPal, however, is the best option for processing robust online payments and for conducting a business (like selling feet pics). Venmo, on the other hand, is a more casual payment app used primarily by friends and family for quick and easy transactions.

Getting Paid for Your Feet Pics on PayPal

Now that you understand a little bit more about the inner workings of PayPal (and how it differs from Venmo), let’s go over the specific steps you need to take in order to send invoices and get paid for your feet pics.

As mentioned previously, there are a few ways to get paid using this app – from a friend, from customers, and by creating an invoice. The last two options make the most sense for selling feet pics and videos since you’re essentially running your own online business.

So, here’s how it’s done:

  1. Using the PayPal app or the website, hit the blue “Request” button.
  2. Now, choose what you want to do:
  • Create a PayPal.Me link to share with a customer
  • Create a detailed invoice
  • Enter the mobile number, user name, or email of the person paying you
  1. If you choose to create a PayPal.Me link, you can now share it with your customer who can easily click on it and pay using their own account, a bank account, or a debit or credit card.
  2. If you choose to create an invoice, it will be emailed directly to the client and they can use this link to pay you.
  3. You can also find the client using their personal information and send a direct request.

The client can also intimate the payment to you, without you having to send an invoice or request payment. The same way you found them using their email, phone number, or name, they can find you and send the money directly. When this happens, you’ll receive an email or notification in the app letting you know that the money has been received. It’ll show you who sent the money and how much. If they added notes to the payment, you’ll see these also. Once the money is deposited into your PayPal account you can keep it there safely or transfer it to your bank. PayPay recently added a debit card feature that lets you use a physical debit card both in-store and online where the funds come directly from your balance.

Just note that PayPal doesn’t permit selling adult content, so if you or your client choose to add notes to a transaction, keep them brief, and generic, and remove any mention of foot fetishes or other explicit descriptions.

The Benefits of Using PayPal to Sell Feet Pics

Ease of use and security are just two reasons to use PayPal for selling feet pics. Here are a few more benefits to consider:

  • International Benefits – PayPal is available in over 200 countries and deals with over 25 different currencies. This means you can sell your feet pics to a much broader audience and get paid regardless of where you or your clients live.
  • Widely Used and Recognized Service – PayPal has over 425 million users, so chances are, your feet pic clients are either familiar with the app or have an account. This lends itself to more convenient and secure transactions. Not to mention, when buyers see that you accept PayPal, they might be more apt to make a purchase.
  • User-Friendly – PayPal is pretty direct and easy to use, both online and through the mobile app.
  • Supports All Size Businesses – Whether you’re just starting out selling feet pics online and only have a few customers or have already made a name for yourself in the industry, PayPal can support any size business. If you are just starting out and plan to expand or make this your future, sticking with PayPal is a financially sound decision.
  • High Max Transaction Limit – PayPal’s transaction limit is considerably high compared to other payment methods. You can transfer up to $10,000 on this platform.
  • No Bank Account Required – While it’s in your best interest to link a bank account to your PayPal account for transferring funds, paying bills, and receiving money from non-PayPal users, it’s not a requirement. Even if you don’t have a bank account and want to use PayPal to sell feet pics online, you still can.
  • Safe and Secure Payment Method – PayPal offers encrypted security technology to secure every transaction and all of your personal information. This helps reduce the risk of fraudulent transactions and online scams.

Family and Friends Option – You can ask clients to pay you using the Family and Friends feature on PayPal to avoid transaction fees.

The Cons of Using PayPal for Selling Feet Pics

Despite all the benefits that PayPal has to offer users, there are some downsides to the payment service, especially when it comes to selling feet pics or other explicit content. Here are a few caveats to keep in mind.

  • Doesn’t Support Adult Content Creators — Whether you’re writing erotica, engaging in phone sex, or selling feet pics, if PayPal finds out about it, you’re at risk of having your account closed without warning. According to their policy, the platform prohibits all account holders from “buying or selling sexually oriented digital goods”. This includes downloadable pictures and videos and subscriptions to adult websites. One way around this is to be very vague in the notes of your money request or when drafting an invoice. Instead of writing details about the transaction, leave it blank and send a separate note or “receipt” via email or messenger.
  • It Takes a Long Time to Settle a Dispute – Disputes happen. Whether the client doesn’t pay the agreed-upon amount or breaches your agreement in some other way, you can file a claim and open a dispute with PayPal. Unfortunately, this process takes anywhere from a few weeks to months or even years to sort out. PayPal requires both parties to provide ample proof including emails, messages, and screenshots of their interactions before making a final decision. If they decide to close your case, you can’t reopen it. If you’re selling feet pics using PayPal, you can’t exactly share your email or message exchange since selling adult content using this payment method is prohibited. Basically, if a client scams you out of payment on PayPal, you have little recourse to protect yourself.
  • Your Account Can Get Deactivated – Some PayPal users claim that their accounts were deactivated without warning. When this happens, your funds and balance are frozen for up to six months or more. PayPal states that it will not close an account without a justifiable reason and provides all users with notice and explanation of the violation. In most cases, if PayPal finds out you’re selling goods or services you shouldn’t be, they can take action without warning. Since you’re selling feet pics which is technically prohibited, you run the risk of having your account deactivated and your money lost.
